Four years ago our world was ruled by Covid-19. Oene van Geel at the time saw all his performances being cancelled and started filesharing with fellow musicians around the world. This eventually resulted in a bunch of recorded tracks, collected on an album series titled ‘Connecting Colors’ (Vol.1, Vol.2 and Vol.3), “because music is all about connection”.
Cinematic Gestures now is the completion of an eclectic trilogy of jazz, world, chamber and folk.
