“The arrival of the Corona virus had a big impact on all of us”, says Oene van Geel, multi-instrumentalist and winner of the Boy Edgar Award. “Like many of my fellow musicians I saw all my performances being cancelled. I borrowed good home-recording gear from a friend and started filesharing with friends around the world. While we could not play together on stage it gave us a way to connect, and music is all about connection.” Acoustic Encounters is the first release in a series of three.
