Have you ever played Frisbee with friends? Throwing that disc, knowing roughly where it will land, but above all: last minute diving, jumping, running to pick the frisbee out of the air before it hits the ground….

For example, the three weeks in August 2020 that followed Oene van Geel's proposal to Tom Van Dyck, felt like playing frisbee: "Shall we send some audio tracks to each other and see what we can do with them?"

In the following weeks - via the internet - a cascade of ideas and creativity erupted. Without having a plan at the start, it turned out in the third week that more than enough material had been created for an album.
Producing won material was self-evident, both Oene and Tom compose and perform a lot, always with a firm footing in jazz, chamber music, 'grooving' pop and free improvisation.

These 3 weeks in August made them completely forget about the pandemic and "lockdown". The online frisbee game created space to fully develop their potential. With an intensity that had to translate in a different way than normally live on a stage or during rehearsal. This time online, but it was certainly intense.
